this is another country is a project combining photography and text, first presented in the publication revir (“territory” in swedish) for the photography festival xposeptember in stockholm 2007. through photos of a small forest in the swedish countryside, used by children for playing, the work deals with questions of how we define ourselves in opposition to others and how we relate to the places where we live, or don't live. the work was originally shown over two spreads of the publication but is here displayed as one single image.
