there used to be trees; you used to climb them

the glass of a window is definite and hard, and at the same time transparent and vague. we look out through our windows, we use them to show and to hide. And we put things behind glass, things we want to preserve. trees in a forest grow randomly, grow tall. plants in a window grow neat and controlled.

cypress trees are planted in gardens and burial grounds. dark and serious, they strive high and are deeply rooted. trees of life and death, not easy to climb.
